#AzureTrivia was a Twitter sweepstakes campaign on the @Azure handle that drove engagement with developer and IT pro audiences and increased interest in Azure learning courses. Our goals were to:

  1. Drive engagement with the Azure community by gamifying learning via weekly trivia questions.

  2. Increase interest in Azure learning courses and demonstrate to the audience the value of developing their skills and career.

  3. Encourage the audience to continue the adventure by participating week over week.

Participants who answered the weekly trivia questions correctly were entered to win a custom #AzureTrivia prize package.

The resulting engagement spread beyond expectations, garnering praise, appreciation and mentions, including unboxing videos and photos of developers with their prizes.
